We are finishing up Day 15 of the Whole 30! I can’t believe we are half way through!
I admit I did “cheat” with toast while I was sick. No guilt either — eggs on a sick stomach still sounds gross. Today I am feeling 100% though. Thank you all for the sweet tweets and comments on Monday. It meant a lot.
For breakfast, I had 2 scrambled eggs with organic ghee, bacon, and strawberries. Yum! I had flashbacks of testing week in elementary school when they tell the parents to make sure to feed their kids something really good! Anyone remember those days?
For lunch I had a scoop of Shakeology, 1 frozen banana, 1/3 cup coconut milk, and water. I’ve been buying my coconut milk and green tea off of Amazon, and I have to say the “real thing” is tastes better.
I also had a handful of almonds and 1/2 an apple that isn’t pictured (I got hungry).
Last step — eat up! The avocado chicken salad reminded me of a traditional chicken salad without all of the mayonaise. It’s definitely worth trying even if you aren’t doing the Whole 30 or a paleo-based diet.
