I ran across Blood, Sweat & Cheers‘ newsletter last week after someone recommended me sharing it. The daily email is for people that are looking to get healthier, more fit, and have fun along the way.
I am not normally a daily newsletter girl (I get so many between blogs, Groupon, and many more), but this newsletter has some great content especially if you are thinking about doing a 5K.
My mom and I are doing our first one in March so I definitely plan on scrolling through these each day for a little motivation. ;)
Plus they also share playlists and apps that can be used the day of the event or for training. I still have to figure out how to attach my iPod to my arm when I run after school….any suggestions? I know my OLD iPod had an arm strap, but I’d like to use my Touch because of the apps.
Right now, they are offering a chance to fitness DVDs by Iron Lotus too if you sign up by March 5th. I haven’t tried that brand of workouts, but I am always up to trying out a new workout. Variety helps keep me excited about working out and eating right everyday.
