Normally, I am not an Allure reader, but I received a free subscription and flip through it each month. December’s “Health” section was exceptionally awesome! You all know I love Jennifer Aniston’s arms. The article promises “Farewell to (Flabby) Arms in just 3 weeks; while I can’t believe diet doesn’t play a role, I am excited to try out Jennifer Aniston’s yoga moves!
Jennifer Aniston has said she focuses on eating healthy without depriving herself of an occasional margarita. She’s also known for her yoga practice and friendship with yoga teacher, Mandy Ingber. Jennifer Aniston’s yoga moves for toned arms are something I have been dying to try out for months now, and there they were in Allure.
Jennifer Aniston’s Yoga Moves for Toned Arms
1) Yoga Flow — Start in downward dog, and take 5 deep breaths. Now, move into plank, heels pressed back, spine flat. Take 10 breaths. Lower into bent-arm plank, hugging in elbows to graze ribs. Hover 6 inches above the mat. Now flip over to tops of feet and into upward facing dog. Do 5 sets daily; add 5 more sets every 5 days.
2) Side Plank — Start in plank. Put feet together, turning your body so it faces the left wall and you’re balancing on your right hand and the outside edge of right foot, left foot stacked on top. Lift top hip and right arm toward the ceiling. Take 5 breaths. Return to original position. Repeat on left side. Do 2 sets on each side; add an extra set every 5 days.
3) Table Top — Sit with legs bent, solds of feet on floor hip-width apart. Place hands by hips with fingers pointing toward feet into mat as you lift your hips. Press hips upward as you straighten arms and lean head back. Take 5 breaths. Now move into a tricep push up by bending elbows (aiming behind you) and pressing arms straight for 5 reps. Do 2 sets; add an additional set every 5 days.
