What happened to Beachbody Coaches? What's Next?

Social media is being flooded by former Beachbody Coaches saying they’re leaving or that “Beachbody broke up with them.” We’ll look at what’s going on at BODi, as well as, what is next for us below.

There will be No More Beachbody Coaches

Beachbody (BODi) announced they’re changing from a network marketing opportunity to a straight affiliate model on September 30, 2024. Current Beachbody coaches will be paid through December.

After December, Beachbody coaches won’t have a stream of income unless they sign up as an affiliate.

What’s the difference between Beachbody Coaching and Being an Affiliate?

The network marketing option allowed coaches to see who ordered and what they ordered in order to help them stick to their workouts and nutrition. They also earned a bonus if they built a team of Beachbody coaches.

This bonus wasn’t guaranteed, but it was substantial for many coaches. This allowed them to spend time mentoring their clients and coaches.

With this affiliate option, these former top Beachbody coaches will likely not hit their old incomes. So this means they’ll likely have less time to spend with clients because they’ll need to make up that income somewhere else.

Another difference is that affiliates just know when someone orders through their link. They don’t know who used their link and bought through them.

Does that make former Beachbody Coaches greedy?

You may be thinking — “If my Beachbody coach isn’t willing to help me now, then she was always out for the money.” This is in most cases not true. I’m sure some people are greedy, but we all weren’t.

Coaches are just people that love Beachbody workouts and/or supplements.

Most of them are parents looking to make a little extra money through something they like, and coaches spend a ton of time helping people one-on-one, in groups, planning content, and more.

So now that they can’t earn as much, they may be forced to look for something else.

Will Belle Vitale still come out?

Yes! Autumn Calabrese’s Belle Vital is still coming out as planned!

Does this mean Beachbody workouts or membership are gone?

Nope! Beachbody, aka BODi, is still in business! Your membership and workouts aren’t effected. The only thing ending at Beachbody is the coaching opportunity.

Do you need support for your workouts?

We know a lot of coaches are choosing not to continue as a BODi Affiliate. You should reach out to yours and see what his or her plan is though.

We plan to though because we still love the workouts.

What are we doing next?

We’ve been Beachbody Coaches since July 2011. Luckily, we’ve built a couple of income streams so we’ll be able to continue offering our free, private community Team Engaged for people, as well as, a few new additions!

Nutrition Challenges & Courses

In 2023 and 2024, we got our certifications to be nutrition coaches. Kalee is also a certified personal trainer. We plan to use this to create the nutrition course we’ve been dreaming of for years.

We loved the Beachbody opportunity, but we had a non-compete clause in our contract. This meant we couldn’t share any nutritional programs or information that wasn’t 2B Mindset or Fixate (the 21 Day Fix Containers).

Non-Toxic Living, Clean Beauty & Third-Party Tested Supplements

In 2022, Kim was diagnosed with Crohn’s. Since then we’ve been learning about endocrine disruptors, causes for inflammation, clean ingredients, hormone-safe products, and why third-party testing matters.

We were approached by Hugh & Grace in 2023, but we couldn’t join due to our non-compete cause with Beachbody. Now we can share all about their products!!

They also have an income opportunity that is set up much more simply than Beachbody’s was!

Why We Chose Hugh & Grace

You’ll likely see Beachbody coaches joining other companies now. Some of the popular ones are Shaklee, MAKE, and FASTER way to Fat Loss.

We chose Hugh & Grace because we love the products and mission.

It’s family-owned and focused.
They are a newer company (started in 2021) and have plenty of room to grow.
A bigger product line but not so big that it feels overwhelming or unfocused.
Third-party tested products. This was huge for us since we need hormone-safe products.

We also really love their approach to network marketing and culture in the business. We never felt pressured to buy something or sign up for the income opportunity.
