Positive thinking effects every aspect of our lives. Sometimes it’s easier to stay positive over certain things in our lives than others, but the more we can consciously choose our thoughts – the happier and even more successful we will become.

Hear me out.

Think

Positive thinking can help our self-image. If we stop bashing our unique features, weight, and personality – we will have more confidence and time! Those two things can lead to magical things because you can focus on others and everything you can achieve because of how awesome you are.

I’m not saying we all have to Mrs. Positive all the time or Cocky Pants. But think about that one person that stands tall, has everything pretty organized and put-together and is a great speaker and an even better listener. Don’t you like them and feel inspired?

Switching gears, how do you feel about the friend that is always a Debbie Downer? Holy moly – that’s hard to be around, and unless you are wanting to gripe, you might even avoid them.

Positive thinking can help you attract more inspirational people and naturally grow apart with those less-than-stellar friends. I totally didn’t believe it, but TimeHop (yes, I’m obsessed with the app) has showed me how changing my THOUGHTS has changed my life in the past 3 years.

I used to be self conscious, quiet, and had 3 close friends that thought I was a little “quirky” as they put it. I never had a healthy relationship and constantly felt the need to prove myself. It was terrible and even embarrassing.

Would you like to save this?

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

I started to change my thinking. When someone asked what I did I do today, I didn’t get defensive.I share what I did with confidence and then asked them about their day. I started knowing I was enough and could do anything I set my mind to one way or another. Then I started attracting the same type of people. I have an amazing husband now. I found a job I loved and was great at. Now I get to help others do the exact same thing I do! Talk about cool! (View more on coaching here)
