WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!!!! [VERY MIMM]

I cannot believe it. I feel like I am still living in a one of those fairytale dreams. We’re getting married!!!

He totally surprised me! There is an old, beautiful movie theatre on the town square where we live, and I have always loved it. I remember seeing it with my grandmother while running errands and thinking how special it was even as a little girl. After 31 years, they are renovating the Capitol Movie Theatre. It looks like something out of a movie.

Last week, I found out that they were hosting a weekly event called Jammin’ with the General on the square on Thursday’s and were opening soon. I was so excited!

Then on Friday night, Jake mentioned we may get to tour it because a friend was able to get us in. I couldn’t believe it! The friend was actually the contractor, Tim. I cannot thank him, the owner of the Capitol, or anyone else involved enough!!

Now to the story! :)

So Sunday afternoon we showed up for our tour. The owner, Bob & the general manager, Paula were both there to show us around. They were both so nice! I was seriously like a little girl in a daze. Bob walked us around and showed us the whole building (GORGEOUS!) Then, he said  “I have to go check on something, I’ll be back in a minute.”

Then our song, Sister Hazel’s Everything Else Disappears, started playing. My heart started pounding, and my head immediately started nodding like a big (HAPPY) goob. He got down on one knee and proposed.

As soon as I heard “Will you marry….” I was done! :P I have never felt that overwhelmed by joy in my life.

It doesn’t hurt that the ring is AMAZING. He could not have found a prettier one.

Right after, I was so excited that I had no idea anyone else was there. To add to everything my parents and Cecilia were there! They had been hiding in the one bathroom we didn’t go in!

I was so surprised and happy they could be there. He seriously thought of everything!!

I cannot believe how blessed and happy I feel. The Capitol was absolutely amazing. Thank you again so much for allowing us to have such a special moment in the newly renvovated, beautiful building and being so sweet to us. Every girl dreams of how they will be asked, and the day was absolutely perfect.  

Even when we walked out of the theatre, there was a surprise! The general manager had put our names on the marquee!! It was so wonderful.

I cannot believe how extremely blessed I am. Yesterday will always be one of the best days of my life.

Jake and I are so much alike, and he can read my goofy mind so well. He is also the person who can make me stay calm and laugh until I snort. Everyday I feel so thankful to have someone as special as him, and I know every single day of my life is better because he is in it. I cannot believe I get to spend the rest of my life with him!! I’m the luckiest girl in the world.
