I found a no bake cookies recipe online last week, and I really wanted to try it. After making one batch, I decided to play a little bit with the recipe. The final result was a really yummy, gooey cookie! They reminded me of cookie dough.
No Bake Cookies Recipe with Protein
1/2 all natural peanut butter
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
3 packets Stevia (original recipe called for 6, but it was too sweet for me)
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1 cup dry oatmeal
Mix all ingredients well & form into golf ball size cookies. Freeze 1-2 hours & keep remaining cookies frozen. When you want one, just take it out of the freeze, thaw a little bit, and enjoy! It makes about 18 cookies and each is about 90 calories. Happy non-baking!
If you want a gooey cookie, eat them fresh. If you would like them to be a little more firm refrigerate for an hour and freeze the others.
What peanut butter do we use?
We really like American Dream’s Just Plain Nutty Peanut Butter because it’s so creamy and lower carb than your typical brands!

Not a Vanilla Fan? Try the No Bake Chocolate Brownie
We made these yesterday. Here’s the verdict…
1. They are yummy.
2. No, they aren’t like a regular cake brownie, but they are really tasty =)
3. They are pretty gooey
They are a great choice if you are trying to pick a healthier option than processed cookies or candy. I’d definitely make them again.

1 medium banana, mashed

Combine all of the ingredients together, and then press the batter into a 1″ bowl. They need to be refrigerated for about an hour or longer to firm up. Each is about 100 calories.
