Have you seen the FabFitFun unboxing videos before? My mom and I both have been eyeing the curated subscription box for months now, and we’re tickled that we were asked to do a review of our own! We outline how it works and if we decided to keep a subscription or not below!

What is a Fab Fit Fun Box?
FabFitFun is a subscription box service that offers a curated collection of 8 to 10 full-size products each season. Each box includes different items, and they include a mix of fashion, technology, fitness, lifestyle, home decor and beauty products.
The brands are a mix of well-known brands and new products you might like as well! Based on other FabFitFun reviews, we’ve seen boxes include products from Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Kate Somerville, Tarte, NuMe, Maji Sports, BB Dakota, Dr. Brandt, Briogeo, and Murad.
FabFitFun boxes are available each season – Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. We received the Fall box. Each box contains approximately $200-300 worth of goodies.
Members also receive access to flash sales and FabFitFun TV which includes product demos, workouts, cooking shows, and more.
How does it work?
FabFitFun is a subscription service — so you’ll receive a box each season until you cancel.
Before you subscribe, they’ll ask you either to take a lifestyle quiz or select one item you’d like to receive in your first box on the FabFitFun website.
Once you’re a member, you’ll be able to answer questions about your clothing size, workout routine, skin care, and style preferences to include your FabFitFun account. These answers will help them curate your next seasonal box of goodies!
Keep an eye on your email because they will email you asking you to customize 3 or more items in your box. This is a really nice feature because some items you’ll definitely like more than others! If you don’t select your items, your box will be made at random.
How much does FabFitFun cost?
Each box retails for $49.99, but it always has a value of over $200!
2 FabFitFun Memership Options
There are two FabFitFun membership options — seasonal member (the default) or an annual member. The cost of the box varies depending on your membership. Both are going to auto-renew, so you’ll need to go in and cancel if you decide it’s not for you.
The annual membership is $179 upfront for 4 boxes ($45 per box), and this membership allows you to choose ALL of your products through the year.
The Seasonal membership is $49.99 per box, charged on a quarterly basis, and these members can only choose 3-4 products per box.

I was particularly excited about the Aveda Damage Remedy because I love their products. I also just tried a new leave-in conditioner, and it’s way too thick. So this was perfect timing!
The ExfoliKate is another one I fan-girled over! I always see her products on TV and at Sephora, but I never commit to buying any! This was a majorly good surprise!
I also am not one to buy myself nice bath stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I like my bar soap and body wash from the grocery store, but I do like having something new and pampering every now and then!
I also really liked these Baublebar earrings! I always put Baublebar on my Christmas list because I won’t buy them for myself! I love how sparkly and versatile these earrings are!
The box also pushed me out of my comfort zone a bit with the cheese board. I always want to put together a spread like this, but I don’t know how. So it’s really cool that they outlined tips in the FabFitFun magazine as well!
Is FabFitFun worth it?
Each FabFitFun box includes over $200 worth of goodies for under $50. So it’s a great way to try new amazing products, however, it’s a bit of a gamble whether or not you’ll like the items.
For that reason I was always a little nervous to try it. I wasn’t sure if I’d like spending money on a surprise.
After trying FabFitFun for a few seasons, I can say some boxes are way better than others.
If you are someone who loves a surprise or trying new high-quality products, this subscription box is perfect for you! On the other hand, if you are on a tight budget and prefer to buy what you know you love, FabFitFun isn’t for you.

Is FabFitFun easy to cancel?
For a subscription service, FabFitFun is easy to cancel or “pause” your membership. You can cancel it with their customer care team online through a live chat or by phone.
I recommend making a note in your phone’s calendar to remind you to cancel once you’ve received your first box. If you like it, you don’t have to cancel, and if you don’t like it — you’ll have plenty of time before they charge your credit card for the next upcoming box.
The Bottom Line
The seasonal boxes include premium products to try with a total value over $200! The annual membership is the better deal because you can customize your entire box. The yearly subscription is $179.
You’ll need to contact their customer care team to cancel the subscription, but it is easy to do online or by phone.
However, you may want to choose 1 box as a trial membership if you’re trying out FabFitFun for the first time! A FabFitFun subscription box also makes a great Christmas gift for someone and is a little more personal than just a gift card.
