If you’re lifting weights, staying active, or just trying to bounce back faster from your workouts, EAAs (essential amino acids) can be a game-changer.

Unlike BCAAs (which only contain 3 amino acids), EAAs include all 9 essential amino acids—the ones your body can’t make on its own. That means better support for recovery, muscle repair, and endurance no matter your fitness level.

We were compensated for this review and are proud to be Naked Nutrition affiliates. As always, all opinions are our own—and honestly, we’d buy this again ourselves. We only share products we truly believe in and personally use.

Naked Nutrition EAAs Review

Why We Chose Naked EAAs

We’ve used a lot of amino acid products over the years, but Naked EAAs stood out immediately.

Here’s why:

  • Pharmaceutical grade, fast-absorbing, and clean
  • 2:1:1 ratio of L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine (for optimal muscle-protein synthesis)
  • Vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and GMO-free
  • No artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors
  • Only 40 calories and 7g of sugar per serving (from fermented cane sugar & monk fruit)

We’re super picky about what we put in our bodies, and Naked EAAs passed the test. It’s made in the USA, and you can tell they care about quality.

No gimmicksjust clean energy with nothing to hide.

What Does it taste like?

We’ve tried a lot of amino acid supplements over the years—some were too sweet, others tasted like gym socks, and a few ended up in the trash after one sip.

The unflavored Naked EAAs aren’t the worst, but I’d recommend the Mango and Strawberry Lemonade version of their EAAs instead of the unflavored.

Amino acids can taste rough, but both Mango and Strawberry Lemonade are light and refreshing.

Plus, it dissolves really well—we didn’t get any clumps or chalky bits, which is a huge bonus. You can easily mix it with water, juice, or your favorite sports drink and go.

How Do We Take It?

We use 2 scoops mixed into about 10–12 oz of cold water, usually right before or during a workout.

It’s also a great option post-workout, especially if you’re not hungry right away but want to jumpstart recovery. And if you’re into stacking supplements, try pairing it with Naked Creatine to help with lean muscle growth and strength.

What Are the Benefits of EAAs?

Whether you’re training hard, doing cardio, or just trying to stay active consistently, EAAs can give you that extra edge.

Here’s what they support:

  • Increased endurance during tough workouts
  • Muscle protein synthesis (especially due to the leucine-enhanced formula)
  • Faster recovery post-exercise
  • Preserving lean muscle, especially during a cut or fasting
  • Better energy and stamina

These are fast-absorbing, so they kick in quicker than a lot of other options. That means you don’t have to wait around for your supplements to work—you can feel the support almost right away.

Who Should Consider Naked EAAs?

You’ll love this if you:

  • Work out 3–5x a week or more
  • Want to boost endurance and reduce soreness
  • Follow a vegan, plant-based, or lower-protein diet
  • Are looking for a clean, caffeine-free energy boost
  • Want something that tastes good, mixes fast, and just works

Even if you’re not a hardcore athlete, these can help fill in nutritional gaps and keep you feeling strong and energized.

Do EAAs Help With Aging?

Yes! As we age, our bodies naturally become less efficient at synthesizing protein, which can lead to muscle loss (sarcopenia), slower recovery, and reduced endurance.

Supplementing with EAAs—especially those high in leucine—can help maintain muscle mass, support strength, and promote better recovery in your 40s, 50s, and beyond.

It’s an easy way to stay strong, active, and energized as you age.

Common Questions About Naked EAAs

Is this the same as Naked BCAAs?

No—BCAAs only contain 3 aminos (Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine). EAAs contain all 9 essential aminos, which provide more comprehensive recovery support.

Does it contain caffeine?

Nope. This is a stimulant-free product, so it won’t interfere with sleep and can be used any time of day.

Does it contain protein?

Not in the traditional sense—but it contains amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. It’s like giving your muscles what they need directly without needing to digest a full protein powder.

Are there artificial sweeteners?

No. It’s sweetened naturally with fermented cane sugar (Reb-M) and monk fruit extract. There are no artificial sweeteners, colors, or additives.

How many servings per container?

There are 26 servings per container—which lasts almost a full month if you take it daily.

We think so—especially if you’re serious about training or recovery.

  • Choose a Flavor vs unflavored
  • Dissolves fast—no clumps or weird grit
  • Clean ingredients—vegan, gluten-free, no artificial anything
  • Helps with energy, recovery, and muscle support

If you want a daily supplement that actually supports your performance without the fillers, this one checks all the boxes.
