Chalene Johnson is famous for TurboFire & TurboJam, but she also created PiYo and Hip Hop Hustle.
PiYo and Hip Hop Hustle workouts are currently only offered in gyms through Power Blue Productions, Chalene’s company. Beachbody recently joined up with Powder Blue though which could lead to great things for us Chalene Johnson fans! Chalene has also mentioned that a brand new workout to be released later in 2014 has already been filmed and is ready to go (sign up here to get more information as soon as I get it)! While I think it has a better chance of being a PiYo-type workout (read more on it here), Hip Hop Hustle would be an awesome workout for home as well.
I have never done a Hip Hop Hustle Chalene Johnson workout before, but it looks like so much fun. You start off in a hustle, or traditional dance-based workout, and then jump into the hip hop part. While I am not a great dancer at all, the choreography looks pretty easy. To me, it looks like if you could do TurboJam or TurboFire, Hip Hop Hustle wouldn’t be a problem either. I would love to have Hip Hop Hustle on DVD, but I am excited for whatever Chalene Johnson’s new workout will be! (Sign up here for FIRST access to information on it! Once I get it, I will pass it along!)
Doesn’t it look like so much fun? While the steps look easy to follow, I know my heart rate would be sky high with these workouts. I also love how she includes core moves into cardio!
