For 2013, I set the goal to interview at least 12 fabulous and fit women. I believe it is important for us to see how normal and busy women make their dreams of a healthy body and balanced life happen. Tina Haupert from Carrots n Cake agreed to be my first interview.
Carrots n Cake was one of the first healthy blogs I followed, and I love her style of writing and balanced lifestyle.
Unlike some stuffy, “I-do-everything-perfectly” bloggers she talks about everything from following the Paleo diet and running in the freezing cold to hangovers and ulcerative colitis (UC). Her ability to open up and share the ups and downs is what I love about her blog.
The following are the questions I asked Tina from Carrots n Cake for the 2013 Fitness Interviews:
1. You make some great recipes on a daily basis, what inspires you?
2. What’s your go-to dinner?
3. Do you have a favorite brand of tennis shoes?
Reebok! I love their
Nanos for CrossFit.
4. If you had to choose 1: Unlimited beer or nut butter?
Sadly, I can’t drink beer anymore because of my UC, so I’m going to have to go with nut butter!
5. What is your favorite date night?
I pretty much like them all, but my favorite is eating dinner and getting a few drinks with Mal and chatting for hours.
6. If I didn’t have a pug, I’d have a….
Pug. For real. I’ve wanted a pug for as long as I can remember!
7. How have you changed in the last 5 years?
I’m a lot more confident in myself. I actually just blogged
about this the other day.
8. What advice do you have for new bloggers?
I love helping new bloggers and have complied all sorts of advice and tips over the years on
my Blogging page.
9. What was the last book that you read and enjoyed?
10. You are happiest when….
I’m with Mal and Murphy. They’re the best.
Thank you again, Tina for the taking the time to do the interview with me.
Two more really cool, fit women have agreed to do an interview for February and March so stay tuned!
I asked Tina what her go-to dinner was, what is yours?
