A day off or finding an extra $20 in an old pair of jeans are well-known mood boosters, but today I’m sharing 3 not-so-known ways to boost your mood instantly.
Dr. Oz’s Top 3 Mood Boosters:
1. Negative Ion Mood Booster Generator — This little do-dad is supposed to help you release toxins and other positive ions that unbalance our normal negative charge. It looked really cool on the show. I started looking on Amazon for one though, and now I am unsure about it. It claims to…“recharge your mind, body and spirit while eliminating odors, dust, pollen, smoke and countering the effects of energy draining items in your home and office like air-conditioning and computer monitors” I just don’t see why everyone wouldn’t have one already if it worked; it also has mixed reviews.
2. Acupuncture Provides Peace of Mind Relief — Dr. Oz suggests blend of eucalyptus, basil and peppermint oils. You are suppose to begin by rubbing the scent on your finger and placing it behind your ear. You then work back to your neck. I don’t have oils, but I love Bath & Body Work’s Sugar Salt Scrub. It helps my skin feel soft and feels so good on sore muscles.
Would you like to save this?
3. D-ribose (2000mg a day) — It is a sugar replacement and used by athletes to increase performance. Just like sugar, the sugary flavor helps release energy into the cells and improve your energy. If you are like me, I’m cranky when I’m tired and something sweet is definitely a mood booster. I will definitely try this one after finishing the Ultimate Reset.
Do you believe in any of the three mood boosters? I’m never sure about Dr. Oz’s suggestions, but all of these seemed like they couldn’t cause any harm.
Oh yes, the Ultimate Reset! I will be restarting it now with my mom on Monday. If you missed my first post on it, read about Ultimate Reset here. I made it through Day 3 and had to stop because of my grandmother’s emergency hospitalization. I am so excited to start fresh and hopefully stress-free Monday! :)
Thank you!! :) It looks good! I never thought to use a little brown sugar either. Sounds yummy!
I make a very similar salad as the one above on Passover every year and it is always a big hit! I use walnuts instead of pecans.
I also do one where I substitute the sugar dressing for simple oil and balsamic and I still find it nice!
