10 Minute Air Fryer Portabella Mushroom Pizza

These delicious Air Fryer Portabella Mushroom Pizzas are fun and easy to make! Plus, they’re ready in 10 minutes and low calorie! Get ready to enjoy the flavor of pizza without the calories or grease!

These portabella mushroom pizzas can be made in the oven or air fryer, and they’re one of our favorite family dinners!

What You’ll Need

  • 1 Portabella mushroom
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Garlic Powder, to taste
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
    1/4 cup marinara sauce (approximately)
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (approximately)
  • Anything additional toppings: pepperoni, fresh basil, onions, olives, or jalapeño

You can also double or triple this recipe as well! You may also find you want more or less marinara and cheese, but this is a good place to start!

How to Make PortabelLa Mushroom Pizza

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2. Gently wipe the mushrooms with a damp paper towel.
  3. If the mushroom has a stem, gently remove it with your hand or knife.
  4. On the countertop, cut a large piece of aluminum foil to fit inside your air fryer. Place your portabella mushrooms on top of the aluminum foil top side down (you should see inside the mushroom).
  5. Drizzle the mushroom with a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Place the aluminum foil with mushroom caps inside the hot air fryer.
  7. Cook for 5 minutes at 400 degrees.
  8. Keeping the mushroom caps inside the air fryer basket, CAREFULLY top with marinara, your choice of toppings, and cheese.
  9. Cook again to melt your toppings for 4 to 5 minutes at 400 degrees.

*At step 8, you can remove them from the basket to top them, but you will need to place them back into cook the toppings — so we chose to leave them in the basket.

Can you make this Recipe in the oven?

Yes! You will want to play with the temperature and times, but we’d suggest setting the oven to 425 and cooking them for 5 minutes. Then, repeat to cook your toppings.
