My mom and I have ordered from Vitacost for years. We love that it’s easy to shop for a variety of natural products — whether it be a supplement, snack, or laundry detergent — in one place! In our honest review, we share our favorite items to buy at Vitacost including supplements, groceries, and household items!

Why We Shop at Vitacost

Besides the convenience of being able to get everything from snacks to supplements in one place, we always save so much money by shopping there, and you don’t need a membership! Make sure to sign up for their emails to get updates on sales and deals!

With that said, Vitacost can be overwhelming! So we wanted to put together a list of our tried-and-true products to help you navigate all that they offer!

We definitely recommend Vitacost because a lot of the time it’s 50% less than retail, you can stack promo codes, and you don’t need a membership!

Best Way to Shop Our Favorite Vitacost Items

We were hoping we could link to each product, but we’ve found the links break often. So we recommend opening up Vitacost’s website and then using the search option on their site to find these items.

What We Normally Buy at Vitacost

Typically, we’ll have our normal shopping list, but we also will add a couple new things to try each time we order. It’s helped us find new snacks that we love, and it usually qualifies us for free shipping!

Food

1. Siete Chips

We fell in love with their grain-free tortilla chips. But their Kettle Cooked Potato Chips with sea salt are seriously the best potato chip ever. They’re made with 100% avocado oil, non-GMO project verified, and certified gluten-free. Plus there are only 3 ingredients: potatoes, avocado oil, sea salt.

kettle and fire beef bone broth

2. Kettle & Fire Bone Broth

Bone broth has so many great benefits, but it can be expensive! Plus, you have to make sure the broth is from grass fed bones and organic. Kettle and Fire’s bone broth is both, and it tastes great!

3. Vitacost Almond Butter

This almond butter contains just almonds! It’s easy to spread, has no added salt or sugar, and trans-fat free.

Plus, a pound of almond butter is usually a small fortune, but this one is reasonable! We love it on toast, in smoothies, or in protein balls!

4. Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Whole Grain Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

Our grocery store never has whole grain old fashioned rolled oats, it’s either steel oats that take forever to cook or Quaker Oats. Bob’s Red Mill are the perfect in between! They cook fast, but they’re hearty oats. The only ingredient is whole grain oats, too!

5. Bob’s Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed

Flaxseed is such an easy add-in to your oatmeal, casseroles, or baked goods! The only ingredient is Bob’s Red Mill is golden flaxseed!

6. Bragg Coconut Aminos

We use this instead of soy sauce! It’s organic and tastes great!

7. Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

If you’re considering taking apple cider vinegar, it’s important to find one with the “mother” in it. This one has it, plus, it’s  USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified. It’s perfect for making salad dressings, too!

8. Poppi

We love Coke Zero, but we recently made the switch to Poppi. We’ve tried all of the popular “sodas” like Olipop and Zevia, and none of them were good….until Poppi. We like Doc Pop, Grape, and Root Beer the best!

9. Jovial Gluten Free Pasta

Two of our best friends are gluten-free, and mom and I eat a Mediterranean diet with pasta being a staple. So, we are always looking for a great gluten-free pasta to serve when they come over! Jovial is gluten-free, kosher, and a product of Italy!

10. Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers

You never realize how many additives are in crackers until you start checking labels. Simple Mills Gluten Free Fine Ground Sea Salt Crackers are so delicious and keep the ingredients clean!

11. Organic India Tea Caffeine Free Tulsi Moringa

This tea is caffeine-free, and it has so many health benefits! Tulsi is considered the “The Queen of Herbs” and has been used for 1000s of years to help with stress, detoxification, and supporting the immune system.

12. Amy’s Organic Soups

If you need a quick meal, we love Amy’s organic soup line. Our favorite is the minestrone.

13. Coconut Water

We’re not saying coconut water is going to be the end-all-be-all to your hydration, but we do like the taste! Vitacost is usually a great place for deals on coconut water, too!

Supplements

14. Codeage’s Liposomal Turmeric Curcumin

We did a full review of why we are in love with Liposomal Turmeric Curcumin, but basically, it’s a great way to help with inflammation and boost your immune system! Grab the full Liposomal Turmeric Curcumin review.

15. Codeage Hair Vitamins – Biotin 10000 mcg

We compared Codeage’s hair vitamins with Nutrafol before we picked which supplement we wanted to take. Codeage is nearly half the price (before Vitacost’s promo codes!), and it contains more active ingredients than Nutrafol!

16. Codeage Marine Collagen Peptides

We’ve tried multiple collagen peptide supplements, and this is by far our favorite. It’s sustainably sourced, and it contains only 100% collagen peptides from wild caught cold water white fish in North America.

It mixes well into almond milk, smoothies, and Greek yogurt, too! It doesn’t have any fishy taste or after taste/burps.

17. Probiotics

While we’re hesitant to share a specific probiotic or digestive enzyme since every body is different, Vitacost has several great, creditable brands to choose from. We personally like Amy Myers MD, Codeage, and Garden of Life.

18. Digestive Enzymes

Like probiotics, we’re hesitant to recommend one specific one, but digestive enzymes can be beneficial to gut health and Vitacost has several!

Household Items

19. Laundry Detergent

We personally use Attitude Laundry Detergent from Vitacost, but they also have other popular brands including: Molly’s Sud’s, GreenShield Organic, Rebel Green and Fit Organic Laundry Detergent.

20. Attitude Reusable Dyer Cloth

We use this static eliminating dryer cloth instead of fabric softener or dryer sheets now.

21. Attitude Dishwashing Liquid Soap

Vitacost has several dishwashing soaps to pick from, but we stuck with Attitude again. We love that you can get it in unscented, too!

Skip the Attitude Dishwashing Tablets though…

They weren’t our favorites. If you find a dishwasher pod you like, will you let us know in the comments?

Personal Hygiene and More

22. Jason’s Toothpaste

When I was dealing with perioral dermatitis, this was the only toothpaste I could use! I love the spearmint flavor!

23. The Honey Pot Duo Pack Tampons

Yep. I can’t believe I’m sharing what tampon I like, but there isn’t much worse than trying different “natural” tampons with rough cardboard applicators. I’m here to save you some pain – Honey Pot’s 100% organic cotton tampons are the the best. They work great for a medium flow (still can’t believe I’m sharing this!) and include an BPA-free applicator.

24. Natracare Panty Liners

These are also made with organic cotton, and they aren’t bulky or powdery.

25. Badger Sunscreen

We love Badger sunscreen because it doesn’t run, and it’s made with 98% organic ingredients & clear zinc oxide.
