I’m pretty picky when it comes to shakes. I decided to try Nutrisystem earlier this year, and they were a bonus in my pack. I actually really liked them, and they don’t require a blender which is a perk! Below you’ll find my full review on the Nutrisystem Turbo Shakes.

These shakes are included in the Turbo Takeoff Week that you do when you first start the program.
I really enjoyed them. Along with the food, the shakes had a great taste and kept me full.

What are the ingredients in the Nutrisystem shakes?
The shakes contain several ingredients – all of which are listed below.
The key ingredients are:
- Whey protein concentrate
- Dietary fiber blend (inulin, resistant maltodextrin)
- Calcium caseinate
- Cocoa (processed with alkali)
- Nonfat milk
- Bacillus coagulans gbi-30 6086 (probiotics)

How to Make the Shakes
It’s super simple. You can mix them with milk or fruit, but I just did water.
I just mixed the shake with about a cup to 12 oz of cold water with ice. Then, I shook all of it in a shaker cup.

I really enjoyed the Turbo Chocolate Shakes. I’ve TRYED several so called ” SHAKES ” in the past. HORRIBLE I must say to say the Very least. Not the way with the NUTRISYSTEM Turbo Shakes
, THEY ARE ” FANTASTIC ” . I’ve ordered several double orders in the past months, & LOST EVERY SIP. I AM CURRENTLY ON THE VEGETARIAN UNIQUELY YOURS AND HAVE BEEN SINCE FEB. 2017 LOVE IT. I CHOOSE ALL FROZEN EXCEPT THE SHAKES I OORDER IN ADDITION. TO DATE OCT. 6TH 2018 I LOST 72 LBS. I WENT FROM SIZE 14-16 JEANS TO CURRENT A SIZE 4 TALL. I’M 5 8 126 AND FEEL FANTASTIC. I HAVE SPENT LOTS OF $$$$ ON THE AYSTEM BUT WOULD NOT REGRET IT EVER. THATS NUTRISYSTEM.
I just bought some nutrisystem turbo shakes. Can I lose weight on them. But not eating the other stuff just using the shakes.
Hey Kellie! It will depend on what else you’re eating through the day. You’ll want to make sure you’re eating enough calories while also not going crazy with calories as well.
That is fantastic…how many turbo shakes are you aloud to drink a day? I can’t find where is says how many a day.

I don’t know what they say is the most you can drink, but I did 1 a day between their breakfast and lunch meals. :)
Do I have to use Turbo Shakes
Nope :) They are recommended during the Turbo Takeoff week, but they’re not required at any point in the program to lose weight.
I would like to use the Shakes while on Nutri System since I need all the help I can get to lose weight, but I need to avoid carrageenan which seems to be everywhere. Is there an alternative to the Shakes? Or is there a flavor that doesn’t contain carrageenan?
I’d say a lean protein like chicken or eggs and a vegetable or a cup of greek yogurt and berries would be a great option; I’d keep it to about 150 calories.
Can you use these for meal replacement
It’s considered more of a snack. If you’re looking for a meal replacement, we’d recommend Shakeology instead.
The probiotic shakes are not meant for meal replacement. The Fresh Start mix directions call for mixing with 8 oz of water. I use 10 or 12 oz of milk and add 2 scoops of mix (per the directions for making 1 shake). I have that for breakfast and do not feel hungry before lunch! I’m not kidding. I’m a grown man weighing in around 260 lbs but the shake mix added to a glass a milk lasts me for hours.
