You’ve pushed yourself through 80 challenge workouts – Congratulations!! So now you may be asking – What should I do after 80 Day Obsession? That’s where we come in! We outline the 2 options to help you make the best decision for your time, lifestyle and goals.
Option 1: Do Another Round of 80 Day Obsession
Autumn explains how to do a 2nd round of the program, but it’s really simple – you start back with Day 1.
You’ll want to recalculate your containers for your timed nutrition. The weights and resistance loops you lift may be different too because you’ve gotten stronger!
You also don’t get Refeed Days until Week 6 just like the first round.
Option 2: Change To Another Workout
You’ve gotten leaner and stronger with 80 Day Obsession. So you could start a new workout program to continue to see results.
We lean towards this option for a couple of reasons:
- It keeps you from getting bored or rationalizing skipping a workout.
- It allows you to work towards a specific look (getting shredded or building more muscle).
Workouts to Get Shredded
Our first pick is 21 Day Fix Extreme
They are only 30 minutes long, but don’t let that fool you! They are intense! (Check out our review here)
It’s also only 3 weeks long, and the countdown to competition meal plan is AWESOME for getting shredded.
We also used the performance supplements with Extreme, and we saw really great results with it and the Countdown meal plan.
You could also always do Hammer & Chisel!
It’s a 60 day program and mixes in different types of strength training daily along with cardio. You can view all of the details & schedules here!
The cool thing about Hammer & Chisel is you can do the original schedule or just Autumn’s workouts with the 30-Day Chisel schedule.
Nutrition Wise – Autumn’s Ultimate Portion Fix Guide is a great next step!
It includes lessons about carb cycling, making the containers work for your family and timed nutrition.
Workouts to Build More Muscle Mass
If you’re looking to build more muscle, Body Beast is our favorite!
Sagi Kalev’s Body Beast program is the most intense at-home strength training we’ve ever done! It’s great for men and women looking to build lean muscle mass.
We found the meal plan to be challenging as women. So we would recommend sticking with Timed Nutrition and going up a level if you’re hungry.
Whatever you choose, you could do a round of it & then go back to 80 Day Obsession.
There is no right answer. It really depends on your mindset, goals and what you want to do each day. We’re happy to help you decide on the next step though if you have questions.
