50 Pumpkin Recipes to Make This Fall [Keto & Low Carb Options]

New to cooking or baking with pumpkin?

No worries! We’ve got you covered!!

You can used canned or boxed pumpkin on the baking aisle at most grocery stores! You’ll want to find a brand that has just pureed pumpkin in the ingredients for the best flavor! This keeps things easy, and it tastes great! 

You can also choose to use fresh pumpkin during Autumn; however, we usually go canned to keep it simple!

If you want to use fresh pumpkin…

You’ll want to wash the outside of the pumpkin, cut it in half, and scrape out all of the seeds and strings. Then, you’ll want to cut the halves into smaller pieces and place them on a baking sheet skin side up.

Before placing them in the oven, cover the bottom of the baking sheet with water. Bake at 325°F for about 45 minutes or until pumpkin is tender. Once it’s cooled, you can scoop out the fleshy part and use it in your recipes!!

Pumpkins have to be our favorite in the squash family!! They’re low in calories, saturated fat, and cholesterol! Plus, they’re rich in vitamin K which helps with bone health and the antioxidant beta-carotene! Beta carotene is important for your eyes and immune health!
