These little yummy keto peanut butter cream cheese balls are amazing and super easy to make!!
They are definitely a treat for us, but they are totally worth the few extra carbs.
You’re going to love how satisfying these creamy rich peanut butter balls are!!
And hello!
Even if I say so myself, they are pretty darn impressive looking, so I would be right proud to tote these to a party for myself a lower-carb dessert. My friends won’t ever know either that they are eating a keto fat bomb.
What Sweetener Do You Use for a Keto Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Balls?
I used Swerve Confectioner Sugar from Amazon in our keto peanut butter cream cheese ball recipe. This gives them a sweet taste without adding in extra sugar and carbs. Score!!

Keto Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Balls
Ingredients Needed:
- 1/3 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 3 Tbsp of Swerve Confectioners Sugar
- 5 oz of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup crushed Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate Chips
- Crushed walnuts or nut or your choice (optional)
We really like American Dream’s Just Plain Nutty Peanut Butter because it’s so creamy and lower carb than your typical brands! You can get 10% off using the code KIMANDKALEE.
Another option is to use a powdered peanut butter. We tried Naked PB and really like it as well.
How to Make These Amazing Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Balls
- Set your cream cheese and peanut butter out. They need to be soft to work with.
- Crush your chocolate chips in a food processor or chopper. We used Ninja’s chopper.
- Once your cream cheese and peanut butter are room temp and soft enough to work with, mix them together along with the Swerve confectioners sugar.
- Roll into balls. I made 8 medium balls.
- Dip into the crushed chocolate chips (and nuts if you use)
- Finally freeze them for a couple of hours. I froze mine for 2 hours and then stored in the fridge. They didn’t last long there – not from going bad but from getting ate.
- Eat those bad boys!! Who says you gotta share.
Can I Use Real Natural Peanut Butter for these Keto Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Balls?
I would say yes, but I used Skippy’s Natural Peanut Butter which does not require stirring.
I’d imagine the natural peanut butter you must stir works just fine because you’ll be mixing with cream cheese and the Swerve confectioners sugar.
Just know that the consistency might be a bit more mushy and may require you to keep in freezer.
