How to Make Breakfast Pizza

We’re obsessed with this school breakfast pizza! It’s so quick and easy to make, and even the pickiest kids will love it in the morning!

Pizza ingredients include bacon, cheese, eggs, pizza dough and milk

Ingredients:

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (We used Pillsbury)
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup vegetables (optional – used for toppings)

How to Make a Breakfast Pizza Recipe

Preheat the oven to the temperature listed on the pizza dough and spray a pizza pan with nonstick spray.

Fry or microwave bacon until it’s half-cooked and drain the fat.

As the bacon cooks, roll out your pizza dough onto the pan until it’s flat and smooth.

In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. 

Spread 2 Tbsp of the egg mixture onto the pizza.

Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese on top.

Pour the remaining egg mixture over the mozzarella cheese.  

Now top the pizza with the cooked bacon, cheddar cheese and any additional vegetables you’d like.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.

Slice and enjoy warm!

For a lighter option, use 2% or fat-free cheese and reduced sodium bacon. 

You can also swap the bacon for sausage crumbles or purchase pre-cooked bacon to use.

    1. Hey!! Thank you for asking!! I totally missed posting that step! You add the remaining egg mixture over the mozzarella cheese. So it’s crust, 2T of egg mixture, mozzarella cheese, and then the remaining egg mixture. It’s kinda messy here, but if you turn up your crust edge it helps to hold the egg mixture in. Then you finish it off with your other toppings…bacon, cheddar cheese, and any veggies you might like.
