What is Shakeology?

Shakeology is a protein-based shake that is nutrient dense. It contains digestive enzymes, probiotics, vitamins, and minerals that can help with cravings, digestion, and more.*

We love using it in recipes like this one, as well as, our other favorite vanilla Shakeology recipes. You can also learn more about the meal replacement shake here.

How to make a Iced Cinnamon Almond Milk Macchiato

We skipped any fancy machinery for this homemade drink recipe! You don’t need an espresso maker or anything to enjoy this! You’ll just create layers in your drink to create the macchiato look and flavor.

  1. First start with the bottom layer — blend almond milk, ice, and Shakeology in blender until smooth.
  2. Pour this layer into your serving glass and place in the freezer while you make your top layer.
  3. Your top layer requires you to blend almond milk, ice, Shakeology, cinnamon, and extract until smooth.
  4. The final step is to pour that top mixture into your serving glass on top of your bottom layer.

If you’re looking for a traditional macchiato, we also love the Nespresso Espresso maker!!

Can I have this on the Ultimate Portion Fix?

Yes, if you’re following the 21 Day Fix containers or the Ultimate Portion Fix, you can enjoy this drink everyday if you want! It’s considered 1 red and 1 tsp! We love adding it to our 21 Day Fix meal plan!

  1. I see the recipe calls for the almond milk and ice to be split in two, but what about the Shakeology? Are you using one Shakeology flavor for one part and another for the other? The recipe isn’t clear which to use for which part.
Either way, it looks tasty! I can’t wait to try it!
