White Bread Keto Chaffle Recipe

One of the reasons people fail at keto dieting is because they miss bread or foods that are associated with regular bread (burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches – the list goes on and on!) Now, you can enjoy your favorite cheat-type meals again with this wonder bread chaffle!

Plus, it’s super easy to make and only requires a few simple ingredients and an affordable mini-waffle maker!

What Are Chaffles?

Chaffles are a popular invention by the keto community and a combination of the words “cheese” and “waffles”.  This is because many common chaffle recipes use cheese as a main ingredient.

Our keto wonder bread recipe actually doesn’t use cheese though. We focused on using an egg, almond flour, mayo, and baking powder in our bread recipe.

Traditional ChaffleS

Using a keto waffle is a great way to tame your cravings! There are 2 types: savory and sweet. This traditional chaffle is great to use instead of bread or a pizza crust, and dessert chaffles are typically sweeter and great as a treat.

Enjoying a White Bread Keto Chaffle

There are so many different ways to enjoy a chaffle!

We love to enjoy them as:

  • breakfast sandwiches
  • mini-pizzas
  • toasted with jam or peanut butter
  • as a bun for our burgers or brats
  • french toast
  • waffles!

The Best Chaffle Maker

Making chaffles is super easy, but you will need a Dash mini waffle maker. It’s really affordable and easy to store because of how small it is!

I love this chaffle maker because it’s super quick and easy to use. It heats up when you plug it in, and you can either time each chaffle to about 3 minutes, or it the little light will go off once it’s cooked.

It’s also really easy to clean and the chaffles come out easily without spraying it with anything!

You could also buy a larger mini-waffle maker if you’re cooking for a larger family or wanting to meal prep! This larger maker will help you create 4 chaffles in the same time the little mini-waffle maker takes to make one!

How to Store Leftover Keto Wonder Bread Chaffles

You can easily store and reheat this keto wonder bread chaffle recipe! We store them in a ziplock or meal prep container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days, and you can also freeze them if you’d like to eat them later. If you freeze them, you’ll want to store them seperately or with parchment paper in between each one so they don’t stick together.

Reheating Keto Chaffles

You can reheat our keto chaffles by microwaving them 10-15 seconds or toasting them in the toaster.
