Yes, keto buffalo chicken wings are between 0-3 grams of net carbs per serving. Based on the nutritional information, the total fat in wings is16 grams as well – which makes them a great high fat, low carb food for a keto a diet!

Yes, typically it’s okay to eat chicken wings on a ketogenic diet. The main thing to watch is how the wings (or meat) are prepared. You want to avoid breaded, glazed, or barbecued (because of hidden sugars) wings on a keto diet.
How to Make THe Best Crispy Keto Parmesan Wings
The best way we’ve found to make crispy wings is to bake them and then broil them on a baking sheet for a few minutes. It’s really up to you and your personal preference on the cooking process though.
You could use an air fryer, deep fryer, or high pressure cooker like an Instant Pot though. You may like these Instant Pot Buffalo Wings if you prefer use another cooking method.
What You’ll Need to Make The bEst Keto Buffalo Wings
These wings are really simple to make! You’ll need just a few ingredients and about 15 minutes to prep the wings.

- 1 pound package of chicken wings
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- meat thermometer (optional)
Our spice mix includes parmesan, salt, and pepper, but you could also mix in 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, or red pepper flakes if you wanted. Some readers even suggested Everything But The Bagel seasoning!
You may also want hot sauce. Our favorite brand is Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, but you could also make your own homemade buffalo sauce. Most traditional buffalo sauce recipes are low in carbs, but always double check when you’re counting carbs.
Step by Step Instructions to Make Keto Buffalo Wings
First, you’ll place your frozen wings in a single layer into the oven at a high heat — 400 degrees. The cook time needs to be 45-55 minutes depending on your oven.
While they bake, combine parmesan cheese and seasonings in a medium mixing bowl, and melt butter in a small saucepan.
After you remove the wings from the oven, you can dip them in butter and roll in the seasoning.
Then, place the wings under the broiler for 5 minutes to get them nice and crispy!
How many keto chicken wings are in a serving?
We made 1 chicken wing a serving for the nutritional information, but a pound of chicken is about 10 wings. So you may want to double or triple the recipe for a bigger party.
Dipping Your Low Carb Chicken Wings
Since sauce-covered wings are usually higher in carbs, we stuck to a keto wings recipe. Sometimes you just want to have a little bit of dip or sauce on the side.
At least we do!
We prefer blue cheese dressing. It’s only 1 carb for 2 tbsp in carb manager — making it a great low carb and keto option.

How to Store Low Carb Chicken Wings
What’s the correct way to store buffalo chicken wings? Move your leftover keto chicken wings to an airtight container or place them in a small bowl or plate and cover with foil. They should stay fresh for about 3-4 days in the fridge but honestly, they don’t last that long at my house.
