Hi, my name is Judy Malone and I am a Certified Meditation & Mindfulness Instructor at All in the Balance. I believe that meditation can save the world. It sounds crazy and over the top but I really do believe this simple and effective tool is that powerful. I have seen what meditation can do for others and I have firsthand experienced the major shift it made in my life as well.
Meditation and mindfulness are truly buzz words right now and there is a good reason for this chatter. It works!!!
Meditation provides the tools to:
- eliminate stress from the body so it does not accumulate and cause harm
- develop the mindfulness to eliminate the judgment and attachment that causes stress
- develop the awareness of the impact our thoughts, feelings and actions have on our own quality of life, those around us, and the global community.
- take control over our own health- there are numerous studies showing how meditating 20 minutes a day can drastically impact your health in a positive way
- access an inner peace that is deep inside you
I believe in a short time period, everyone will understand that mindfulness-based meditation is as necessary to our health as washing our hands and brushing our teeth.
It is my prediction that in the very near future meditation will be a part of everyone’s daily health practices, and even children as young as 3 or 4 will be exposed to the basic tools of meditation. I believe meditation will be a normal practice in our businesses, relationships, home and family life, communities, schools and our places of worship. Meditation and mindfulness is hitting the world hard and fast and it is here to stay.
